Assessing the landscape, vegetation and habitat parameters for end-uses of rehabilitated land at the Moura coal mine

Characteristics of vegetation, soil properties (including erosion) and parameters associated with fauna habitat values were assessed at Moura mine as part of the site rehabilitation monitoring program. Monitoring the status of rehabilitation will contribute to the identification of trends over time, and evaluation against unmined reference site communities and features consistent with, and targeted for, the nominated land use objectives.
