The Centre for Mined Land Rehabilitation
successfully continues to strive for excellence in education and
training. We offer coursework programs that can be taken from anywhere
in the world and research programs that are completed using our
facilities in-house (Brisbane, Australia).

Sustainable Minerals Institute (SMI) centres such as CMLR, can be

Study by Coursework
With strong
links to industry, the CMLR has
created a solid multidisciplinary approach to integrated environmental management
for mining and has developed several courses that are available as
non-award (professional development courses) or as award courses where
they contribute to a postgraduate qualification. All our
courses are offered in remote learning mode, no attendance is required
at all.

Study by Research
CMLR
provides opportunities for students wanting to enrol in an Honours,
Master or PhD program. The research topics we offer have been chosen to
not only help you to gain a degree, but they also address currently open
industry questions in our field, that you will be able to answer and
publish under the guidance of our academic researchers.
